Gemini Dessert: Afternoon Tea Spread

This is the fifth creation in my zodiac dessert series where I design a delicious dessert for each sign.

This is for Gemini.

Afternoon tea spread with floral jam petit fours and cucumber mint ice cream sandwiches with cream cheese sponge cake.

The blooms of the season are frozen in time by being crystallized and used as garnish for these delightful treats. Rather than the traditional finger tea sandwiches, I made a dessert version with a creamy cucumber ice cream and a hint of mint.

Bring a gemini to any social event - they are so charming and will easily be the best company of the group. Never experience a silent moment. These bite-sized treats allow for constant chit chat, gossip, external processing, talking about themselves, etc. Geminis are associated with communication, but I don’t need to tell you that.

Known for being indecisive, a tea party spread is the perfect dessert for a gemini. They can sample a variety of treats and flex their multi-tasking skills. They are playful, adaptable, and enjoy an aesthetically pleasing spread.

Above all, geminis are perhaps the most intelligent and curious of the zodiac. They soak up information like sponges with their noses constantly in books or ferociously researching the latest topic that tickles their fancy. This light sponge cake is used to make both treats here, and is as absorbent and air-y as our gemini friends.
